Coordinated Emergency Fodder Support Package - 2025-26 North Queensland Monsoon Trough and Flooding

A $7 million Coordinated Emergency Fodder Support Package is available to eligible primary producers impacted by the North Queensland Monsoon Trough and Flooding commencing 24 December 2025 event, to assist primary producers with the extraordinary costs of undertaking immediate and emergency livestock welfare activities.

• Winton Shire Council

Funding acknowledgement

This program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the joint Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) to support Queensland communities in their recovery from the event.

Administering agency

Department of Primary Industries (DPI). 

Producers wishing to access the Coordinated Fodder Support Package should contact their relevant local council to discuss arrangements for distribution.
