$11.5 million has been made available through the Cloncurry Airport Recovery and Renewal Project. This package is designed to assist with the cost of recovery and renewal works of Cloncurry Airport which was directly damaged as a result of the North Queensland Monsoon Trough, associated Tropical Cyclone Koji and Severe Weather commencing 24 December 2025.

Funding acknowledgement
This program is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments under the joint Commonwealth-state Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) to support Queensland communities in their recovery from the event.
