Mental Health Recovery Program 2025-26 North Monsoon Trough

About

The $4.26 million Mental Health Program will fund psychosocial health and wellbeing initiatives following the Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji, Cyclone Narelle and Severe Weather, commencing 24 December 2025 event, for flood affected communities and vulnerable Queenslanders.

  10. Etheridge Shire Council
  11. Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire Council
  12. McKinlay Shire Council
  13. Mornington Shire Council
  14. Mt Isa City Council
  15. Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council
  16. Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council
  17. Yarrabah Aboriginal Shire Council

Funding acknowledgement

The package is jointly funded by the Australian and Queensland Governments to support Queensland communities in their recovery from Queensland Monsoon Trough, Cyclone Koji, Cyclone Narelle and Severe Weather, commencing 24 December 2025 event.
